HELP Foundation J&K is committed to transforming lives through skill development and livelihood promotion. From a single training room in Inderhama to a network of community-based centers across the Kashmir valley, our mission has been to equip women and youth with practical skills that open doors to independence, dignity, and economic stability.
Our programs blend traditional Kashmiri artistry with modern livelihood opportunities. We offer training in heritage crafts like Ari, Sozni, and Tilla embroidery, cutting and tailoring, and Kashmiri handicrafts, alongside contemporary skills such as food processing, apparel making, solar panel installation, mushroom cultivation, and vermicomposting.
Through initiatives like SHEHJAR, we connect artisans directly to local, national, and global markets, ensuring fair prices and sustainable incomes. We also promote collective empowerment by forming Self-Help Groups, women’s cooperatives, and artisan-led enterprises, while providing interest-free loans and financial literacy training.
Our approach combines skill building, entrepreneurship, and market access to create resilient communities where women are recognized as vital contributors to economic and social growth.
